Sea Pines officials say, “Back in 2014!”

The Heritage Classic Foundation is pleased to announce the Sea Pines Junior Heritage will return to its usual dates February 1-2, 2014. The Sea Pines Resort will partner with the South Carolina Junior Golf Association to run the event with the support of the Heritage Classic Foundation.  In making the announcement, South Carolina Golf Association Executive Director Happ Lathrop said, “We are excited to be a part of the rich tradition that is the Junior Heritage.”

Also taking place will be the unveiling of The Sea Pines Resort’s new clubhouse facility located at the Ocean and Heron Point Golf Courses in early 2014. “We are thrilled for the return of the Sea Pines Junior Heritage.   The renovations taking place at the Resort will only enhance what is already a nationally ranked junior event,” said Cary Corbitt, Director of Operations of The Sea Pines Resort.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with The Sea Pines Resort and support of junior golf,” added Steve Wilmot, Executive Director of the Heritage Classic Foundation.  “The addition of the South Carolina Golf Association in the operation of the event will only help to further showcase this great tournament.”
