Matt Lowe started his day with bird and was the most comfortable he has ever been on the first tee. Suprising for a player who has maybe touched a golf club twice a week over the off season (He is from Long Island and the weather has not been favorable), Rusty, Matt went to his “go-shot” yesterday and was happy to putt well.
Today, starting 2 strokes back, carded six birdies and continued his good play. Lowe felt great to almost make the playoff and finish one stroke back. He came into the Sea Pines Junior Heritage cold and is now looking forward to this season,
The long Islander gave a shout out to the grounds crew calling the course conditions “pristine” and the greens flawless.
